The film is a coming of age story of a Korean girl named Hana (19) who comes home after her mom has had an epileptic fit. She, and her younger brother, take over menial tasks around the house and her mom's restaurant. There she meets a young woman named Nico (25), a charming Spanish music producer. The two girls fall in love but Hana's responsibilities at home and her traditional culture disables her to let go completely.
