Mary is an NYC based Director, Cinematographer, and Producer. She once macheted tall grass in the jungles of the Philippines to help push a picture vehicle out of mud just in time for golden hour. All this while wearing a banana suit. She’s all about getting the shot while having a good time.

Her work has been blurring the lines between personal drama, fantasy, and fiction since getting a hold of her first 16mm camera as a teenager. Starting with filming her brother's dalliances into the drag queer world of San Francisco to shooting an underground night-club in Shanghai or a romantic drama in Uganda for other directors.

She worked three years as a Digital Strategist at Mekanism - an award-winning ad agency known for making viral campaigns. She worked on brands like Samsung, Ralph Lauren, Brisk, and Pepsi’s AMP. She discovered how a killer idea, simple storytelling, and big emotions go along way with an audience more than mere spectacle. But spectacle is good too.

Mary received her MFA at Tisch School of the Arts for Writing and Directing where she was the recipient of the prestigious Tisch Graduate Fellowship for Cinematography and was a Wasserman Finalist for her short film called Ina Nyo. With her work, she pursues distinct and transformative stories full of bullish heart and levity.
